€200,000 funding under the Rural Development Programme sanctioned to support an Agri-Tourism enterprise in Co Wicklow.

Phil Hogan, T.D., Minister for Environment, Community and Local Government announced on Thursday last that he has given sanction for Co Wicklow Partnership to approve funding of €200,000 to Abhainn Rí Self-Catering Cottages.

This funding, provided under the Diversification into Non-Agricultural Activities measure of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, will provide the necessary financial support to enable this tourism amenity to expand its accommodation offerings in Co Wicklow. This facility offers a unique Irish heritage and cultural farm holiday experience for home visitors and tourists alike.
