The Irish Society of Poultry Fanciers 25th National Poultry Show is on Saturday the 18th of February 2012.

The show will be held at Gurteen Agricultural College, Ballingarry, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.

Exhibitors will be there from early morning getting their birds ready for the show. All birds to be penned by 10am and then judging will start at 10.30am. No one will be allowed to go around the hall while the judging is on, only the judges and stewards.

Judging starts in the morning and is usually finished after lunch time.

The birds cannot be taken out of the cages until 3.30pm. All the birds must be accounted for before they can leave the show hall.

Entries now closed! €5 entry free for people who aren’t showing birds to go into the show hall. Non I.S.P.F members and the general public. Exhibitors are free. Children free.

No poultry sale at this event, just a show! There will be ISPF Poultry Sales held later this year.

If you or anyone you know with a business with poultry/small holding products would like to have a Trade Stand, it is €25 for the day. Anything considered from supplies, gifts, books, etc.

If you would like your birds to be photographed, there will be a photographer on hand too.

There will be food available, toilets and a place for you to sit down and have a chat and a rest. There is a free car park also.
