EU SME Centre: Free Business Tools to Assist Irish SMEs to enter the China Market

The EU SME Centre in Beijing, China is a project funded by the European
Union to assist European Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to
export to China by providing a comprehensive range of free, hands-on
support services including the provision of information, confidential
advice, networking events and training.

The Centre works very closely with a number of partners and stakeholders
across the EU to strengthen the network of communication between
organisations and chambers of commerce that support European SMEs with
market access to China. A range of *free services* to SMEs and SME
intermediaries including:

– *answering enquiries* from individual SMEs looking to the
Chinese market;
– *providing market reports, practical business guidelines and
case studies* offering up-to-date, sector-specific information on
opportunities and challenges faced by European SMEs in the Chinese market;
– *supporting trade delegations* with training, seminars and
individual meetings when visiting China;
– *sending speakers* to business events targeting EU SMEs in
Europe and in China;
– *providing *mailings and materials, such as* industry articles,
to disseminate via member newsletters and magazines* ****
