CountryLife to donate €1 to Barretstown for every new ‘Like’ on Facebook

CountryLife Garden Centres are pleased to announce their new campaign to raise much needed funds for the children’s charity, Barretstown.  Until July 31^st, CountryLife will donate one euro for every new ‘Like’ on their Facebook page, up to €2,000. For more information visit www.facebook.com/CountryLifeGardening and click the Barretstown Tab at the top of the page.

Barretstown is a residential camp for children with a serious illness offering a range of adventurous and challenging activities and supported behind the scenes by safe, medical attention and care – always for free.  These camps provide a break from hospitals, white coats and medical treatment and a chance for sick children to be children again: to have fun, to make new friends and create new memories – all within the beautiful and magical setting of Barretstown castle in the Kildare countryside.

Dee Ahearn , Barretstown CEO is delighted with the partnership, “All the children and families come to Barretstown free of charge. Everything, including transport, food, accommodation and first-class medical care is paid for through the generosity of our supporters. I would like to thank all of the staff and customers at CountryLife for their support in this innovative campaign and for helping send more children affected by serious illness to Barretstown.”
