Official sold prices now live on Daft.ie

Daft.ie, Ireland’s biggest property website, have today integrated the Residential Property Price Register into their site, meaning house-seekers can now see what price neighbouring houses were sold for alongside current properties for sale.

This new integration also allows users to see how many bedrooms and bathrooms the sold properties have, along with the property type (apartment, semi-detached, bungalow etc.), something that is not available on the PSRA’s own register.  This information is available for properties that were previously listed on Daft.ie.

Commenting on the launch, Kieran Harte, Marketing Director at Daft.ie said; “The release of the Property Price Register was great news for house-hunters and we’re excited to be able to make it part of the house-hunting experience on Daft.ie.  We’re also proud to be able to make the register data even more useful by complementing it with bedroom, bathroom and property type information.  The more information that is available to potential buyers and sellers; the better.  We believe that more transparency will lead to greater confidence and a more sustainable level of house sales.”

Neighbouring sold price data is available on the maps on all sales properties as well as in a searchable table on the site and is available at www.daft.ie/priceregister.
