An Electric Venue for this years National Forestry and Woodland Show
Stradbally Hall Estate, home of the famous Electric Picnic music festival in Co.Laois is the venue for the next Irish Forestry, Woodland and Bio Energy Show which will take place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May 2013.
The show is a bi-annual event that will feature a wide range of forest and woodland machinery with all the ancillary activities that go with tree growing and harvesting. A large part of the machinery section will include chainsaw and fire log equipment with major international companies exhibiting.
This year’s event will host the National Tree Climbing Championships, sponsored by Liffey Distributors and will have many of our top 
tree surgeons competing for a place to represent their country at European and world events. Show organiser David Wilkinson says there will be something for everyone to see with other activities such as machinery demonstrations, chainsaw carving, woodland crafts, horse logging, nursery and garden section and of course an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Stradbally Hall Estate.
