EU LIFE+ Programme 2013

Funding is available for Environmental Projects under the EU LIFE+ Programme 2007-2013.  Over the period 2007-2013, Life+ will provide €1.7 billion for co-funded projects across the EU which are linked to nature conservation, environmental technology and the communication of environmental matters. Ireland’s allocation for this year is €4m approx, subject to suitable projects being submitted and approved.

 

The European Commission will issue its seventh annual call for proposals under the Life+ programme in February 2013. The call will include full details and conditions regarding the submission of applications and deadlines. To assist potential applicants, an information workshop will be held in the offices of the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, Custom House, Dublin 1 on 15th February 2013.  If you intend to apply for funding and wish to attend the workshop please contact: Brian Earley at Brian.Earley@environ.ie  and provide a brief outline of your proposal before 1 February 2013.
