Peugeot 5008 Special Edition Is Packed With Family Values

Peugeot’s popular 5008 7-Seater range will expand this month, with the introduction of Special Edition Family models. Available with a choice of 1.6 HDi 6-speed manual or Ecomatique, the 5008 Family is available immediately, priced from €31,695 plus dealer delivery related charges.

The Family models are based on the current Active model but gain extra equipment to make family motoring even more enjoyable. Standard specification now includes a panoramic roof with a full-length electric shutter blind, roof bars, privacy glass, two DVD screens integrated into the headrests with Bluetooth headphones, a leather steering wheel and luxury carpet mats.

The striking people carrier from Peugeot, an Irish Family Car of the Year award winner, combines space, style, economy and safety to give families affordable comfort.

The 5008 offers drivers a raised driving position giving excellent visibility and all seven passengers enjoy a bright and spacious interior. Second row seats comfortably fit three ISOFIX baby seats and third row seats are easily accessed from the second row with one easy movement. Flat-folding rear seats allow a load area when of up to 823 litres with third row seats folded or up to a substantial 2506 litres when second row seats are folded away.

Standard safety equipment includes curtain airbags to protect all three rows of passengers, ESP, ABS, ASR, electronic brake force distribution, driver / passenger airbags, automatic electric parking brake with hill assist function and fasten seat belt warnings on all seats.

The new Special Edition 5008 Family further benefits from Peugeot Ireland’s move to an extended warranty in 2013, offering customers a welcome five year’s peace of mind motoring.
