Record January for Audi Ireland

5.4% market share year-to-date and 23% growth year-on-year

Audi Ireland today announced a record market share for the month of January. According to the latest sales results, the brand achieved a national market share of 5.4% year-to-date, maintaining its position as the number one premium car brand in the country.

Following on from a successful 2012, today’s result sees the brand increase its sales by 23% compared to the same period last year.

Andrew Doyle, managing director at Audi Ireland commented:“Despite a highly competitive trading environment in January, we are delighted with our sales performance. The figures for the month are extremely encouraging and with the anticipated arrival of the A3 Sportback this month, we are confident that sales will continue to flourish for the remainder of quarter one and beyond.”

“We will also continue to invest heavily in our dealer network throughout 2013. We are now almost halfway through our €80m investment programme with the most recent Terminal opening at Audi Naas last week.These new showrooms superbly showcase the exciting 2013 Audi model range and provide an unparalleled customer experience.”
