Win a Trip to Germany with the Volkswagen Think Blue World Championships 2013

Think Blue is a global initiative by Volkswagen to create environmentally friendly products and solutions, encourage more eco-conscious behaviour and contribute to a sustainable future. It’s about being more responsible on the road and more environmentally conscious – not just in our cars, but everywhere, every day.

Whoever builds vehicles carries responsibility – for our customers and for the environment. It’s what we like to call “Think Blue.” Since the introduction of Think Blue in 2010, there have been more than 360 projects in over 35 countries.

The best part is that you can join us on this journey. Think Blue is about being more responsible on the road and more environmentally conscious—not just in our cars, but everywhere so we have come up with the Think Blue Championships – an international event that takes place from 6^th to 10^th September 2013 in Germany and Volkswagen Ireland want to send two lucky people to the event!

4 Days you will never forget.

As part of this four-day event prior to the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, all finalists challenge each other along a given route. In addition, they will take part in different actions related to fuel-efficient driving, e-mobility or ecological sustainability in everyday life. The programme consists of more than just the driving experience. An exciting supporting programme with special evening events and a visit of the International Motor Show is planned. The internati­onal champion will be awarded the coveted Think Blue World Championship 2013 trophy.

The route

The “Think Blue. World Championship 2013.” will be designed as a car rally that takes the contestants from the Volkswagen capital Wolfsburg to Frankfurt. On the route, the finalists have to prove their fuel-saving skills and fulfil different tasks on the subject of sustainability at stops along the way. That way, they will improve their know­ledge on sustainability in everyday life.

The competition runs from the 9^th to 19^th August and the leading score on the official leader board at the end of the week will win a prize for two people to travel to the Think Blue World Championships in Germany between the 6^th – 10^th September 2013.
