Take Part In The Annual Darkness Into Light Event Supported By Electric Ireland

Darkness Into Light (DIL) is a unique, early morning experience which begins in darkness at 4.15am on 7th May, as thousands of people walk or run a 5km route while dawn is breaking. Last year’s event attracted over 100,000 participants in over 80 locations across Ireland and abroad. DIL is the flagship fundraiser for suicide and self-harm charity Pieta House which is this year celebrating its tenth anniversary.

Registration figures are currently far greater than last year and Pieta House is expecting numbers to exceed the goal of 120,000 participants.
