Euromillions Jackpot To Hit A Mega €100 Millions

Ireland is in the grip of EuroMillions fever with Tuesday’s EuroMilions Jackpot estimated to hit a bank-busting €100 million, the highest so far this year.

A National Lottery spokesperson said today (Sunday) that retailers all over the country are reporting massive interest in Tuesday’s draw after Friday night’s bumper €90 million Jackpot was not won.

If the country boasts a winner on Tuesday it will bring to over €1 Billion the total in Irish EuroMillions winnings since the game started in 2004. And it will be an excuse for the National Lottery to open the doors of its famed Winners Room, recently visited by much loved weather presenter Nuala Carey  https://www.lottery.ie/winners-room

The National Lottery spokesperson said: “It is rare that the Jackpot hits over €100 Million. This is really grabbing the imagination of our players who are dreaming that they could be the ones to have this life-changing win. With a total of eleven EuroMillions Plus winners alone since January, earning players €500,000, we would love if it was a case of the luck of the Irish for this big Jackpot”.

“There is nothing we would like better than to welcome our 11th EuroMillions winner into our famed Winners Room in National Lottery headquarters after Tuesday’s Jackpot.”

Ireland’s first EuroMillions winner was back in 2005, while the most recent was in January. If an Irish player hits the Jackpot on Tuesday the total haul of EuroMillions winnings in the country will surpass a mind-blowing €1 Billion.
