Friday’s Euromillions Jackpot Worth A Massive €30 Million
National Lottery players can escape the freezing conditions and melt in anticipation of Friday’s EuroMillions Jackpot which is estimated to hit a life-changing €30 million.
A National Lottery spokesperson said today the prospect of winning this massive amount may warm the hearts of its players currently in lock down due to the artic conditions.
And the spokesperson reminded players who are not in a position to get to their local shops to buy a ticket due to the atrocious weather can play online or through the National Lottery App.
“As the country moved towards lockdown with a status red alert issued it may not be possible for our players to get to their local shops to play. People need to heed safety warnings to stay indoors where possible as the country moves towards lockdown ahead of the arrival of Storm Emma. But our loyal players don’t have to miss out due to the weather as they have the option to play online or through the National Lottery App.”
The spokesperson added: “Our offices will be closed from midday today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) but we want to reassure players that all our draws will take place as normal and the results posted on our website.”
Meanwhile players of EuroMillions online have proven very lucky in the past. A total of 9 players have to date won the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 online, while another EuroMillions player won a €632,452 EuroMillions Match 5 + Lucky Star prize in September 2010.
Meanwhile there have been five online Lotto jackpot winners who have won over €20 million between them since the National Lottery launched its play online platform in 2009.
Last Wednesday’s €7,179,959 Lotto jackpot win was the highest ever National Lottery online win. The previous record was set in February 2010 when a Co. Dublin syndicate claimed a €5.5 million Lotto jackpot, the first ever jackpot win on the National Lottery’s online service.
