Laois Students Win Top Prizes In Texaco Art Competition
Four Laois students have won top prizes in this year’s 64th Texaco Children’s Art Competition.
All winners of Special Merit Awards, they are Asma Zulfiqar (15), from Scoil Chríost Rí, Portlaoise, Gerard Kenny (10) and Oisín Smyth (6), both from Shanganamore National School and Rían Dooley (3), from Íosa Linn Pre-school, Ballybrittas.
Prizes will be presented at an awards ceremony in Dublin next month when all of the 126 top prize-winners will be in attendance.
