Sunday 21^st November:

Portlaoise Senior 3^rd team are playing away to table toppers Enniscorthy in the league. This match is scheduled to start at 14:30.

Portlaoise Rugby Ladies team are playing away to Ballincollig in Ballincollig grounds in Cork.  The match is scheduled to start at 14:30.

Saturday 20^th November:

Portlaoise Mini’s have not scheduled match this week but are training in Togher as usual. Portlaoise U13 & U15  are playing Kilkenny U13 & U15 in Togher this Saturday ay 11:00am. Portlaoise U14 are playing Cill Dara U14 in Togher this Saturday at 11:00am. Portlaoise U17 are travelling to Kilkenny to play them away this Saturday. Portlaoise U 19 are travelling away to Tullow this Saturday.

Portlaoise 3^rd’s  v Athy 3^rd’s   in Togher on Sunday 14^th Nov 2010

On a glorious Sunday afternoon , Portlaoise Rugby Club fielded their 3^rd’s team to play near rivals Athy 3^rd’s in the South Leinster Provincial J3 League. Portlaoise got off to a flying start with a try scored inside the first five minutes of the game, and continued scoring tries until the their tally at the half time whistle was eight tries and four conversions. In the second half Athy open their scoring with a successful penalty attempt but Portlaoise continued to score tries. Athy managed to score a try in the last ten minutes of the game to leave the final score at Portlaoise 63  Athy 8.
