Margaret Keane Senior Archaeologist with the Department of Environment, Community & Local Government
Margaret will talk about the role of the department in assessing draft County Development Plans in relation to impacts on archaeology.

Bill Hastings — ARC
Bill will talk about a project undertaken to evaluate the ‘zone of visual influence’ of the Rock of Cashel. The methodology that was developed is a useful tool for conducting similar evaluations on historic monuments.
