The Offaly-border side snaffled all three points in what was teak-tough affair from start to finish. A brace of Lee Bryan goals was capped off by an expertly-taken strike from Niall Porter to ensure Gracefield held off a Portlaoise rally late on. Good performances from Pierce Mitchell, Tom Slevin, Robbie Knight, Stephen Flanagan and man-of-the-match Richie Porter all combined to ensure final victory.

This one-sided affair saw Gracefield canter home with plenty to spare. Goals from Nigel Murphy, Pauric Kelly and Colin Hanlon interspersed well-taken braces from Mark Kirwan and Jamie Evans in what was a scintillating goal-scoring display.
