New Audi A8 Makes Debut In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

Before the new Audi A8 makes its world premiere in Barcelona at the Audi Summit on July 11th, movie fans will be able to get an exclusive glimpse of the stunning new model when it makes its on screen debut later this month in the new Marvel blockbuster ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’. The luxurious saloon will also make a guest appearance at the premiere of the film, which takes place in Los Angeles on June 28.

In the superhero blockbuster, ‘Peter Parker’, played by Tom Holland, is seen being chauffeured around in the new Audi A8 L. The scene allows fans a first impression of the front and side design of the new offering from Audi. In addition, moviegoers also get a demo of new innovations, such as highly automated driving in traffic jams, demonstrated in the movie by driver ‘Happy Hogan’ (Jon Favreau). He takes his hands off the steering wheel allowing the car to turn all on its own, showcasing how the Audi A8 takes over the task of driving when the Audi AI traffic jam pilot function is turned on.

Two other Audi models also make guest appearances in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’: the Audi R8 V10 Spyder, driven by Robert Downey Junior’s dynamic character ‘Tony Stark’, while the film’s hero ‘Peter Parker’ drives an Audi TTS Roadster.

The new Audi A8 will be officially presented to the public at the Audi Summit (www.summit.audi) in Barcelona, Spain on July 11th. ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, featuring the new Audi A8, will be in movie theatres around the world in July.
