Sustainability Summit announces latest additions to speaker line-up which includes Daniel Gutiérrez Patiño, CEO of Save the Amazon

New speakers have been announced for The Business Show’s International Sustainability Summit which takes place virtually on 22nd September. The new additions, who will debate the severity of climate change and its significant impact on businesses, society and individuals, include:

  • Angela Francis, Chief Advisor of Economics and Economic Development of WWF UK
  • Christian Kroll,  Founder of Ecosia
  • Nabil Ahmed, Co-founder of INTERPRT 
  • Daniel Gutiérrez Patiño, CEO of Save the Amazon 
  • Maria Adebowale-Schwarte, CEO of Foundation for Future London 
  • Dorothy Grace Guerrero, Head of Policy and Advocacy of Global Justice Law 
  • Magid Magid – Founder & Director of Union of Justice 
  • Audrey ChoiCSO – Morgan Stanley 

The strategic initiative is designed to be the first in an annual series of events aimed at bringing together the corporate, academic, non-profit and activist worlds to look at sustainability on a global scale. The Irish postal service, An Post, has been named a founding partner of the Sustainability Summit with Energia, Bord Gais and IBEC also confirmed. 

Other keynote speakers include Dr. Gavin Schmidt, NASA’s Senior Climate Advisor and Mary Robisnon, former Irish President and founder of The Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice, who will appear as a headline speaker at the summit.

In a series of keynote speeches and discussions to debate a wide variety of topics centred around helping international business leaders achieve the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the Sustainability Summit brings together leaders, policy makers and key sustainability experts. 

The free-to-attend, virtual event, will host talks and panel discussions centred around the theme of sustainability in business, with the aim of  educating business leaders and the community on how to apply viable solutions for the coming decade while addressing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and how to Action the Change.
